Art as Space at Goodmans Showroom explores the immersive connections between function and creativity. Through a thoughtfully selected collection of contemporary artworks by Arizona based artists, this exhibition reflects Goodmans’ commitment to designing workspaces that foster innovation, culture, and wellness.

For over 70 years, Goodmans has been known for quality furniture and a personalized approach to service. After a break in their twelve year streak as one of the Valley’s “Best Places to Work,” the company set out to introduce the modern office experience. Through research interviews with their own employees, they identified key office values: community, fulfillment, creativity, health, and connection. They transformed their showroom into a model of workplace design excellence featuring designated spaces for collaboration and focus, a wellness room with infrared light and sound therapy, a café lounge, an outdoor patio, and a design resource library. Goodmans now showcases an environment that inspires the future of the office experience.

This exhibition is a reflection of those values, featuring works that complement the showroom’s redesign. What results is a curation that is engaging yet meditative, vibrant yet cohesive, and in harmony with both the Goodmans brand and broader Phoenix community, extending the vision of what a workplace can be. This curation is about shaping a future where spaces are intentionally designed to uplift, support, and inspire the people within them. We invite you to experience this dynamic relationship between the world of art and design, connect with fellow creatives and professionals, and be part of a conversation about the future of human centered spaces.
